For a long time I have had a very strong entrepreneurial spirit and an ambition to monetize opportunities as much as I possibly could. One of these opportunities showed itself in the form of selling drinks during the lunch periods at my high school. Since it took me a while to gather the necessary resources to start my venture, I was only able to sell during my senior year of high school. I know if I had been able to start earlier, the profits I could have earned would be far greater than I can imagine, but despite my short time in business, I managed to net over one thousand dollars in sales, keeping several hundred in profits. And now I would like to share my story with you.

Over the weekend, I wrote down all of the ideas I could come up with for making money and was slightly surprised at how long the list was. While I can’t share all of my secrets with you yet, I felt I should post a few of my ideas for you to read and perhaps you may start taking advantage of one or more of them.

My first funds will be coming soon! I received two emails today, one from amazon.com, where I recently sold a couple of last semester’s textbooks, and one from the UTD bursar’s office, both informing me that money will be deposited into my checking account in the next few days.

Look around you
Just look around you. What do you see? What is the closest thing to your right hand? Perhaps its the mouse you are using to click around on your computer. What is the first thing you see when you look away from the screen? Something hanging on your wall maybe, or the lamp on your desk. Look around you. What do you see that you or someone else paid for? Everything. The truth is, almost every single thing near you was paid for either by you or someone you know. And for everything that you spent money on, someone, somewhere received that money.
